Artistic wanderlust. I'm guessing all of you artists have experienced it--an exploration of new creative terrain and perhaps even literally new subject matter.

Me too. It's the thematic focus of my work for the upcoming 15th Anniversary show at Denver's Brushstrokes Studio-Gallery, where I'm a partner. After the glorious opportunity to travel last summer, I'm utilizing new reference material and a renewed commitment to raking light and either assertive composition or overhead perspective.

"Village Vantage" (48x36" acrylic) exemplifies this pursuit. Enjoy your own artistic journey today!
